Who is Christine Thatcher?
I’m a creative director, web designer, brand designer – let’s just say – I’ve been doing this a long time! As a designer, I love well-crafted fonts, white space and simplicity. For nearly 30 years, I’ve worked with all kinds of clients, on all kinds of projects.
In 2012, I founded Christine Marie Studio and began working with women entrepreneurs similar to myself. I’ve worked with some amazing individuals! I’m known for my ability to translate what my clients say into a design that captures their unique brand personality – taking their words and creating a design they love!
I’m currently a creative director, overseeing the design direction and marketing strategy implementation for 2 corporate brands and 8 product brands, using a team of employees and contractors.
As my process evolved, I quickly learned that encouraging clients to actively participate resulted in better designs. My clients were delighted, and I was rewarded with their complete trust in the process. This way of working is what I’m sharing with you in Designing to Delight.
I’m passionate about designers loving what they do.
It’s why I started teaching what I know. Being a designer isn’t always easy, but interacting with clients and designing things for them should feel collaborative and satisfying – without the drama of them taking over, dragging you through endless revision cycles, or modifying your designs until you cringe.
You can be 100% confident in your ability to nail any design project you take on – with less headache and more joy – giving you the ability to charge more for each new project.
Here’s why I know you can…
Marketing strategies come and go. Design tools change. But the process of design itself doesn’t really change. Mastering the strategic design process – learning how to guide clients and translate their vision into a design they love – is the key to confidence… and the key to charging a lot more for your work.
I can’t wait to teach you!
